UBS has always been a place for learning in my life. I left UBS on the 5th June and I was coming back to see my friends after a couple of months. Many thoughts were racing thru my mind as I traveled. Will I be received well? will my students be happy about my coming? how will my colleagues respond? and many such thoughts. Finally I reach the seminary campus on the 31st morning, got ready and went to see my friends...the best place to meet them was during the usual coffee break at 10:20. There I was and all my students were just happy to see me as I was to see them, there was a crowd around me and most of the 1st year students were glancing at me since they did not know me. i was very happy to see my friends Lanu, who came behind me and twisted my ear and I guessed it was him...all the students who saw that laughed out loudly. I was introduced and welcomed by Mr Chacko Chacko who is the dean of students and the whole dining hall was screaming and clapping for me. I was so humbled to see that my family at UBS did really love me and remember me. On the 1st my care group gave me a surprise breakfast in my room! ( Hope you can see their picture)
I was invited for lunch at the students mess. The best part was that I witnessed the final years' theme presentation " FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE!" They were just amazing and I sincerely appreciate them with all my heart ad wish them God's blessings as they step out into ministry.
I had many friends and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at UBS. I thank my God for giving me the best and the most loving friends on this earth.
I had been a lecturer for almost 8 years. 7 years at Union Biblical Seminary. Though I just love teaching, my heart has always been in pastoral ministry. Even while at the seminary, I saw God leading me to help students and friends that were hurting. I just enjoy seeing people joyful, and I want to do all I can to brighten someone today. I live one day at a time with the abiding presence and firm grip of the Lord Jesus Christ in my life.

Amma & me
Amma...as we fondly call her, is my mother. Her love and sacrifice for us as a family are incomparable! Her name is Kshema and she has been a teacher most of her life. She was the best mother and a model pastor's wife. I was very attached to her from my childhood. It was in September 2003, she fell sick, was admitted in the Apollo Hospital in Chennai. She was there for few days and she was no more! My dearest mother went to be with the Lord on 18th September 2003
